David Suetterle

Chief Executive Officer

David boasts over 20 years of experience driving strategy, innovation, and managing high-performance teams.

As Chief Digital and Innovation Officer for SCOR L&H and CEO of SCOR Digital Solutions, David spearheads the development of business and innovation strategies. His focus is on accelerating SCOR’s digital solutions portfolio, which includes Velogica (SCOR’s predictive underwriting engine suite), risk automation solutions, health tech solutions, and product marketing solutions. David collaborates across SCOR to empower clients in a dynamically changing environment, preparing them for the future with technology and impactful solutions.

During his tenure at SCOR, David has led global business development, strategic partnerships, and client management initiatives across Property & Casualty and Life & Health divisions. His passion for leveraging emerging technologies fosters cross-functional collaboration and enhances client relationships. Additionally, he managed the global financial and capital division of SCOR’s L&H portfolio.

Before joining SCOR in 2015, David spent a decade with another global tier 1 reinsurance group in strategic and financial managerial roles. He holds a degree in economics and business administration from the University of Applied Science Cologne and is a Certified International Investment Analyst.

Outside of work, David maintains an active lifestyle and also enjoys the opportunity to travel and work with different cultures. As the eldest of five siblings, he also deeply appreciates the moments spent together, emphasising the importance of family time.

Martijn Reijerse

Chief Technology Officer

Martijn Reijerse has always been curious about technology. From a young age, he honed his skills by crafting websites for his sports club and it was during his Computer Science studies that Martijn deep-dived into software development.

During university, his first professional role involved creating software for travel information screens in public buses. He then worked with an NGO, where he mastered the introduction of online learning systems across universities in Asia and Africa.

As a co-founder of Ivaldi, Martijn and his team crafted bespoke online platforms & mobile apps and collaborated with diverse clients across industries.

In 2018, Ivaldi embarked on different projects for SCOR Digital Solutions, including the pioneering Good Life platform, after which BRMS and Velogica portal followed, which led to the merger of both companies in 2021.

As Chief Technology Officer, Martijn is leading the development teams, aligning tech roadmaps with business objectives, and driving product innovation in the InsurTech space.

Outside of the office, Martijn plays and coaches various basketball teams and finds similarities with the world of technology. Lessons learned on the basketball court are applied to his work at SCOR Digital Solutions.

Catherine Beauffils

Chief Human Resources Officer

Catherine Beauffils’ academic background in administrative management and Law laid the foundation of her career in human resources and recruitment.

In 1990, she started working as a recruitment consultant with an international agency in Paris where she developed her ability to identify talent in all business sectors.

In 1996, Catherine joined SCOR Digital Solutions as Finance and Administration Manager. Her leadership and strategic vision enabled her to climb the corporate ladder and become Human Resources Director for Europe in 2011. After four years, she took up the position of Senior Client Director in France, gaining understanding on how to apply human resources within SCOR Digital Solutions’ business framework.

In 2017, Catherine's journey continued with a promotion to Human Resources Director, followed by an appointment as Group Human Resources Director in 2018. In 2021, Catherine was appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer, where she now leads our global HR initiatives.

Outside of work, Catherine loves arts, particularly photography. She also likes fashion, discovering new restaurants, hosting dinner parties, and exploring the world’s sunny countries.

Jeremy Speed

Head of Business Development Europe

Jeremy Speed is a French/British national and is currently based in Madrid. Since 2011, he leads business development (with over 30 clients in Europe), establishes key partnerships, and contributes to the enhancement of our Insurtech value proposition (in underwriting, health & wellness and claims). Together with his team, Jeremy pioneered the launch of several solutions in France including Velogica, our automated underwriting solution now #1 in the market.

Prior to joining SCOR, Jeremy worked in consultancy roles throughout Europe, supporting digital transformations by designing new strategies and delivering digital solutions to companies across industries, such as Airbus, IBM, Panzani and Vodafone.

Educated in France, the UK, Germany and Spain, Jeremy holds a Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration - European Management and a Master's in International Business from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid. His passion for geopolitics led him to get a degree in international relations from the Diplomatic School of Madrid.

In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys traveling with his family, and discovering exotic & very spicy dishes!

Mauro Forchino

Business Development Manager Iberia & Italy

Mauro is an Italo/Argentinian national and is currently resides in Madrid. Since 2023, he has been leading business development in Iberia and Italy, driving commercial impact.

Before joining SCOR, Mauro worked for over 10 years on promoting digital businesses across different industries from a commercial and operational perspective, both in Europe and Latin America.

Educated in Argentina and Spain, Mauro holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master's in Digital Transformation in Madrid.

In his free time, Mauro enjoys nature in all its forms, doing outdoor activities, sports, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Vincent Shi

Chief Health Tech Business Officer

Vincent Shi has an impressive 20-year career marked by a willingness to step out of his comfort zone, drive innovation, shape strategies, and foster international business development.

As Chief Health Tech Business Officer at SCOR Digital Solutions, Vincent played a pivotal role in creating SCOR Digital Solutions’ health and wellness solution from scratch. His vision and dedication transformed it into an award-winning InsurTech product suite with a global presence. This solution is now poised to become a broader Health Tech profit center for SCOR Digital Solutions.

Prior to joining, Vincent was a seasoned life actuary. His roles included pricing actuary, valuation actuary, and actuarial consultant. His diverse project experiences spanned Greater China and Southeast Asia.

Vincent is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA). He holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science (Georgia State University, USA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Fudan University, China).

Vincent’s recent focus on InsurTech x Health Tech aligns perfectly with his passion in healthy living, mindfulness, and martial arts.

Tiger Li

CEO, BeeTech & Head of Business Development Fast Growth Asia

Tiger Li, Head of Business Development Fast Growth Asia for SCOR Digital Solutions, is also the Founder, Executive Director and CEO of Bee Tech since 2021. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) with more than 15 years of insurance industry experience.

Tiger started his career in 2008 as a Product Development Actuary and Valuation Actuary at Standard Life China after graduating from Nan Kai University. In 2011, he joined KPMG in mainland China as one of the earliest members of the actuarial consulting team.

In 2014, Tiger became the fifth employee at SGL China, where he built the valuation team from scratch. Two years later, he took on the role of Head of Marketing at SGL China, successfully establishing the Client Management Team, Product Development Team, Technology Innovation Team, and Strategy from scratch.

In 2021, he successfully advocated for the establishment of Bee Tech within the SCOR Group, basing it on the Technology Innovation Team he had led. In 2024, he took the role of Head of Business Development Fast Growth Asia for SCOR Digital Solutions, and at the same time started the journey to expand BeeTech China to South Asia.
